Mochi is DailyNyan's mascot writer and mischief specialist. Soft, round, and endlessly curious, he spends his days supervising Kai's work, stealing snacks, and occasionally writing articles of his own.

He follows Kai everywhere, ramen shops, festivals, quiet backstreets, and reports on whatever catches his attention. His writing is warm, chaotic, and strangely comforting, earning him a loyal fanbase.

He considers himself the real editor of DailyNyan and proves it by sleeping directly on Kai's keyboard.
